Although summer it starting to leave us here in Sydney, I’m still loving cold oats in the morning. Making them the night before saves you time in the morning and means that the oats absorb all the delicious ingredients! I like to serve the oats in a jar, so they are transportable to work.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
Blackberry & Blueberry Layer
¼ cup Rolled oats
½ cup Almond or Normal Milk
2 tbsp Yoghurt of choice
Handful of frozen blackberries and blueberries
1 tsp Chia seeds
1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
Strawberry & Raspberry Layer
¼ cup Rolled oats
½ cup Almond or Normal Milk
2 tbsp Yoghurt of choice
Handful of frozen raspberries and strawberries
1 tsp Chia seeds
1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
1 tbsp Peanut Butter
Handful of Fresh or Frozen Mango
5 Strawberries
Directions:
- Get two seperate bowls ready, by combining the ingredients for the two different layers.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- The next morning, scoop all the Blackberry layer into your jar, top with ½ tbsp peanut butter, mango and strawberries, then scoop the Strawberry layer on top and top again with ½ tbsp peanut butter, mango and strawberries. Enjoy!
My goodness, there has never been a more colorful oatmeal jar that I have ever seen! These overnight oats look absolutely stunning, and I bet the flavors and ingredients taste perfect!
