
I have been hearing so many good things about turmeric lately, so I decided to experiment with this smoothie bowl! Benefits of turmeric include: combating inflammatory diseases, fighting colds and flu and helping with indigestion and weight loss!
Serves 1
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Milk of choice
1 Frozen banana
1 tbsp Chia seeds
1 tsp Turmeric
½ tsp Cinnamon
½ tsp Vanilla Extract
1 Passion Fruit
*Optional: 1 tbsp Protein Powder & 1 tbsp Yoghurt
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients in a blender
- Pour into a bowl or glass and top with favourite things!
I topped mine with strawberries, blueberries, protein balls, cherries, cacao nibs, coconut and seeds.
Delicious! Lately I’ve been using a LOT of turmeric and it just tastes amazing with everything!
