My sister is on a lactose free diet, but this doesn’t mean you can’t have smoothies! Alternate milk for almond milk and yoghurt for lactose free yoghurt, layer up and enjoy!
Serves 1
Ingredients:
Layer One
½ cup Almond Milk
1 tblsp Chia Seeds
1tbslp Protein Powder (I use pea protein)
1 tsp Desiccated Coconut
¼ cup Lactose free yoghurt
1 cup Frozen Strawberries
Layer Two
½ cup Almond Milk
1 tblsp Chia Seeds
1tbslp Protein Powder (I use pea protein)
1 tsp Desiccated Coconut
¼ cup Lactose free yoghurt
1 cup Frozen Blueberries and Blackberries
Directions:
- Blend all ingredients for layer one in a blender, pour into serving glass.
- Blend remaining ingredients, from layer two and pour on top of layer one.
- Enjoy!
