Sometimes you’re craving sushi, but you just don’t have the time to make the sushi rolls. So why not try a sushi bowl! It’s essentially de-constructed sushi with all the goodies.
Serves 1
Ingredients:
½ cup Cooked brown rice
½ a Ripe Avocado
1 Carrot
1 Radish
½ an Orange
5 Snow Peas
½ Tomato
2 Sheets of Sushi nori
Black and white sesame seeds
1 tbsp Ready fried Onion (can get from asian supermarkets)
Directions:
- (Cook the brown rice according to packet instructions, I cook 1 cup rice: 2 cups water, 40 min in the microwave)
- Slice radish, orange and tomato thinly
- Use a veggie spiralizer to make carrot spirals
- Using scissors, cut the nori sheets into pieces
- Arrange all ingredients into a bowl; veggies, rice, nori sheets and orange, scatter with sesame seeds and fried onions
- Enjoy with soy sauce, lime and sweet chilli sauce if you like
